Terms of Use - Skilova

1. About the platform

Skilova is a SaaS platform for creating and selling online courses, intended for professionals in the beauty and wellness industry. The platform is owned and operated by the Skilova team.

By using the platform, you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Who can use the platform

The platform may be used by:

Mentors - professionals who create and sell courses, with an active monthly subscription
Students - users who are granted access to a course by a mentor, without paying the platform

By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and authorized to accept these terms.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

The following is prohibited on the platform:

Uploading content that infringes the copyright of third parties
Sharing or distributing platform content outside approved channels
Uploading misleading, offensive or unlawful material
Attempting unauthorized access to other people's accounts or data
Using automated tools (bots, scrapers) without written consent
Reselling access to the platform or courses without consent

4. Responsibility for content

The mentor is solely responsible for all content they upload to the platform - video lessons, documents, images and course descriptions.

The mentor guarantees that:

they hold all necessary rights to the uploaded content
the content does not infringe the rights of third parties
the information in the courses is accurate and does not mislead students

Skilova is not responsible for content uploaded by users. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

5. Subscription and payment

The monthly subscription is €37 and is charged in advance for each month.
The subscription renews automatically every month.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings, with no cancellation fee.
After cancellation, access remains active until the end of the paid period.
There are no refunds for a partially used month.
Additional storage (100GB) is charged at €2/month per package.

6. Account suspension and termination

Skilova reserves the right to:

Suspend an account in the event of a breach of these Terms
Permanently close an account with prior notice to the user
Remove content that violates the platform rules

In the event of suspension, students will lose access to that mentor's courses.

7. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is". Skilova does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation and is not liable for loss of data, revenue or content resulting from technical issues beyond our control.

8. Changes to the terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms. We will notify you of significant changes by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
